The KeySysTech GmbH has developed a laser scanner system for which lasers with small beam quality can be used for welding-on-the-fly. Combined with a robot huge working planes can be realized which  in turn guarantees maximum flexibility. For industrial use mostly laser sources excited by flashlight are aplied, which have a spot quality product of about 200mm*mrad. It is been hard to realize laser remote techniques for those lasers. The KeySysTech just develops a system, which is construed for these beam qualities. That gives you the possibility to use your already existing lasers even more efficiently.

Of course the technique can also be applied with high beam quality lasers, that guarantees a very flexible input and adjustment to your laser sources.

The scanner works with the so called one-scanner-mirror technique. The laser beam is being deflected by a mirror which can be shifted around to axes. Linear motors guarantee a very high dynamic and minimum shifting time of the mirror. Thus the proceeding time of the mirror to the single welding joints is utterly short.

The system will be offered in two variations:

  • Complete solution in laser remote welding combined with a robot, which guarantees  welding-on-the-fly. This solution will be independent from a robot contractor
  • Stand-alone solution to be able to use the advantages of the big operating distance and e.g. weld while the work pieces are passing by on a conveying system
